2018 Hermes Award
TAP Productions/Randy Young was honored to be nominated and awarded a 2018 Platinum Heres Award for "Best Live StreamProgram." The show, directed by Randy (the home page photo is a shot from inside the truck) was produced by Heroic Productions, Minneapolis, EP Jon Young with Gene Howe, producing. The show is an annual Christmas choral presentation by Gustavus Adolphus College and is streamed live with continuing on-demand availability throughout the holiday season. The live 90:00 production included a cast of 250+ Gustavos students making up three choirs and the Gustavos Symphony Orchestra. Coverage included 15 cameras, a jib, steadiCam, hand held cameras, three robotics and several fixed positions. The venue was the beautiful Christ Chapel on the Gustavos campus. Technical Director Clark Szabo and AD Hope Haliburton made up the TAP crew for the event..
